Gir Lion Wild Life Safari  Park Gir National Park is the sole home for pure Asiatic lions, situated about 65 Kilometers southeast of Junagarh district in the Indian state of Gujarat. Established on 18th September 1965; the sanctuary covers a total area of 1412 square kilometers in the Saurashtra region of Gujarat. Primarily the park was dedicated to conserving the Asiatic Lion which is identified as the world most endangered species. Many researchers and hunters from different part of the world come to Gir because it is the only place where lion exist other than Africa. Gir has evolved as a stable ecosystem due to richness if biodiversity with its 606 different plant species, 2000 species of insects and 36 species of mammals and over 300 species of birds. Bhandup Pumping Station Bhandup Pumping Station is a relatively unknown place to a lot of people and is not as famous as say SGNP. But it is easily accessible for both Mumbaikars as well as out of towners. If you go by local train Nahur is the nearest local train station from which you can easily get a bus or auto rickshaw to take you to the Pumping Station. If you are driving then (from the Mumbai side heading to Thane) take a U-turn under the Airoli flyover and look for a small turn to the left. This is a narrow but tarred road and you can drive on this road close up to the lake. You can then park and do the rest of the trek on foot. This photo walk is for whom? But it is easily accessible for both Mumbaikars as well as out of towners. Padale Gaon Padala gaon is located in Dombivali on kalyan Shilphata road. It is  is a relatively unknown place to a lot of people.  But it is easily accessible for both Mumbaikars as well as out of towners.  If you go by local train, Dombivali is the nearest local train station from which you can easily get a bus to take you to the Padale gaon. Black Kites seem to favour Padale Gaon. Sagar Upvan - Botanical Garden - Mumbai Port Trust Garden Location : Near Colaba Bus Station, Colaba, Mumbai - 400 005. Area:46,000 sq.m.
