Yogi Hills Yogi Hills is situated in Mulund west. Time to reach at top is around 45-60 mins (varies person to person). During monsoon season one can see many waterfalls. Tulsi Lake, Vihar Lake & Kanheri Caves can be seen from the top of the Yogi Hills.  To reach Yogi Hills, one need to reach Vasant Garden and from there is a trail leading up the hill.  ( Picture Courtesy: Rupesh Todkari) This photo walk is for whom? CST Station Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, formerly Victoria Terminus, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and historic railway station which serves as the headquarters of the Central Railways in Mumbai, India. Designed by Frederick William Stevens with influences from Victorian Italianate Gothic Revival architecture and Indian (Mughal and Hindu) traditional buildings, the station was built in 1887 in the Bori Bunder area of Bombay to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of Queen Victoria. The new railway station was built on the location of the Bori Bunder Station and is the busiest railway station in India,serving as both a terminal for long distance trains and commuter trains of the Mumbai Suburban Railway. The station’s name was changed to its present one in March 1996 and is simply known as VT (or CST/CSTM). Padale Gaon Padala gaon is located in Dombivali on kalyan Shilphata road. It is  is a relatively unknown place to a lot of people.  But it is easily accessible for both Mumbaikars as well as out of towners.  If you go by local train, Dombivali is the nearest local train station from which you can easily get a bus to take you to the Padale gaon. Black Kites seem to favour Padale Gaon. Apart from the raptors, Munias, Woolly-necked Storks, Drongos, Egrets, Marsh Harriers and Sandpipers are also known to be seen the region. (Courtesy: Internet) This photo walk is for whom? Sanjay Gandhi National Park Sanjay Gandhi National Park (SGNP), previously Borivali National Park, is a large protected area in the northern part of suburban Mumbai city in Maharashtra State in India. It encompasses an area of 104 km2 (40 sq mi) and is surrounded on three sides by India's most populous city. It is notable as one of the major national parks existing within a metropolis limit and is one of the most visited parks in the world. The rich flora and fauna of Sanjay Gandhi National Park attracts more than 2 million visitors every year. Kanheri Caves The Kanheri Caves constitute a group of rock-cut monuments that are located north of Borivali on the western outskirts of Mumbai, India. Located within the forests of the Sanjay Gandhi National Park, the caves are 6 km from the main gate and 7 km from Borivali Station.
