Gir Lion Wild Life Safari Park

Gir National Park is the sole home for pure Asiatic lions, situated about 65 Kilometers southeast of Junagarh district in the Indian state of Gujarat. Established on 18th September 1965; the sanctuary covers a total area of 1412 square kilometers in the Saurashtra region of Gujarat. Primarily the park was dedicated to conserving the Asiatic Lion which is identified as the world most endangered species. Many researchers and hunters from different part of the world come to Gir because it is the only place where lion exist other than Africa. Gir has evolved as a stable ecosystem due to richness if biodiversity with its 606 different plant species, 2000 species of insects and 36 species of mammals and over 300 species of birds. Dry deciduous forest of Gir covers a large tract which plays a pivotal role in keeping the climate moderate in this region. So Gir is essential to life in Gujarat.

Photo Tour Schedule

Day 0: 21st Nov 2019
Board the SAU JANATA EXP at 17:45 from Bandra Terminus station.

Day 1: 22nd Nov 2019
Reach Rajkot and start the journey towards Resort. Breakfast en route.
Reach Resort, get fresh & have lunch.
Experience the 1st Jungle Safari of Gir.
Dinner at night.

Day 2: 23rd Nov 2019
Early morning wake up call, get fresh.
Enjoy the 2nd Jungle Safari.
Lunch in the afternoon and rest for a while.
3rd Jungle Safari in the evening.
Dinner at night.

Day 3: 24th Nov 2019
Early morning wake up call, get fresh.
Enjoy the 4th Jungle Safari.
After breakfast, reach Rajkot Station and have lunch.

Day 4: 25th Nov 2019
Reach Mumbai.
Bid adieu and return to respective destinations.

Cancellation and Refund policy:

  • 120 days before the Tour 20% charges will apply (i.e, 80% will be refunded).
  • Within 120 days or No show 100% charges will apply (i.e, NO refund). 


Rules
1. All our Photo-walks are Eco-friendly, kindly take care of the nature around us.
2. Smoking and Drinking alcohol during, Photo-walk is strictly prohibited if anyone found doing that will be expelled from Photo-walk without refund.
3. Respect the Heritage and culture. Do Not Litter, Participants are requested to carry the waste back to the city and dispose of it in dustbins.
4. Leader’s decision will be final and binding on all members. No Arguments will be entertained.
5. Moments Shoot is not liable in any way whatsoever for any injury or loss (including any indirect or consequential loss) of any kind to person or property suffered by any participant whether by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent.
