Gudi Padwa  Gudi Padwa, which marks the beginning of the new year for Maharashtrians, was celebrated with much pomp and fanfare in the city on Monday. Men and women dressed in saffron turbans and navvari (nine-yard ) saris danced to the beats of the lezim , dhol and cymbals, while the streets were decorated with colourful rangolis. Moments Shoot's Photo Tour to "Tadoba" Wild Life Safari - The Jewel of Vidharba on 28-29-30 Jun 2019 Tadoba TATR stands for Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve since it was included in the Project Tiger Program in the year. TATR is created by amalgamating Tadoba National Park & Andhari Wildlife Sanctuary. The total area under the Project Tiger is 1727.6 sq.km with core area being 625. 82 sq.km and the rest 1101.78 sq.km constitute the buffer zone. The core area concept denotes critical tiger habitat which is subject to intense conservation measures with human intervention being minimal.  The lifeline of the park is the Andhari River, Erai Dam, Kolsa Lake, Junoria Lake and the Tadoba Lake. Bhandup Pumping Station Bhandup Pumping Station is a relatively unknown place to a lot of people and is not as famous as say SGNP. But it is easily accessible for both Mumbaikars as well as out of towners. If you go by local train Nahur is the nearest local train station from which you can easily get a bus or auto rickshaw to take you to the Pumping Station. If you are driving then (from the Mumbai side heading to Thane) take a U-turn under the Airoli flyover and look for a small turn to the left. This is a narrow but tarred road and you can drive on this road close up to the lake. You can then park and do the rest of the trek on foot. This photo walk is for whom? Keoladeo National Park or Keoladeo Ghana National Park is formerly known as the  Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary  in Bharatpur, Rajas than, India is a famous avifauna sanctuary that hosts thousands of birds, especially during the winter season. Over 230 species of birds are known to be resident. It is also a major tourist center with scores of ornithologists arriving here in the hibernal season. It was declared a protected sanctuary in 1971. It is also a World Heritage Site. Keoladeo Ghana National Park is a man-made and man-managed wetland and one of the national parks of India. The reserve protects Bharatpur from frequent floods, provides grazing grounds for village cattle, and earlier was primarily used as a waterfowl hunting ground. Jhalana Leopard Safari Park Spread in an area of 25+ sq km Jhalana Leopard Safari Park is home to 25+ leopards.  Situated right in the heart of Jaipur city closer to Airport, Jhalana slowly is becoming a favorite destination to spot leopards in wild. This otherwise shy cat is the apex predator here and does not have much competition for survival which makes them bold and confident and therefore better sightings. Once a reserve forest around Jaipur, Jhalana has always been home to leopards and other smaller fauna including spotted deer, blue bulls, jungle hare, porcupine, wild boars and loads of resident as well as migratory birds.
