Yeoor is a location in Thane district in Maharashtra, India that lies in the Sanjay Gandhi National Park. It is known for its panthers and wildlife. Yeoor Hills (or also known as Mama Bhanja Hills) is a hill station of Thanaites. This naturally beautiful and pollution free area attracts lot of people. It is an unspoiled area, carpeted by natural foliage and fauna. Yeoor Hills is home to about 78 known species of birds and about 12 different species of animals. Besides, it has the highest density of leopards in India. A trek through Yeoor Hills at the Thane end of Sanjay Gandhi National Park will be an enchanting experience. Flamingo-Graphy  Moments Shoot's Photo walk for capturing beautiful Flamingos and other birds Description Sewri aka Shivdi is one of the 7 original islands of which formed Mumbai. It also has a fort and the remnants can be seen today also. In 1996, the mangrove swamps of Sewri were declared a protected ecology. Lesser Flamingos from other parts of India come to these mangroves to breed. They arrive at the mudflats from the month s of October to March every year, but they can be spotted there till it starts raining. This photo walk is for whom? Kala Ghoda The name literally means Black Horse. The crescent-shaped Kala Ghoda precinct is Mumbai's premier art district. The area, full of museums, art galleries, educational institutions, boutiques and restaurants has a large number of heritage buildings in the city and is home to the Jehangir Art Gallery, the National Gallery of Modern Art, the Prince of Wales Museum and The Arts Trust. Mahim Nature Park Located on the southern bank of Mithi river, and at Bandra-Sion Link Road, the Mahim Nature Park lie at Mahim, close to Mumbai, the commercial capital of India. Though the nature park is near Dharavi, which is said to be the largest slum of Asia, yet the nature park contains its natural beauty in its most pristine way, and have become a favorable escape from pollution-ridden city life of Mumbai. Said to be the Green Lung of Mumbai, the Mahim Nature Park provides Mumbaikar a very pleasant escape from the pollution-ridden life of the city. Being fine abode to several species of flora and fauna, the park is visited mostly by nature lovers. Beyond counting approx 200 species of trees, the park has 38 species of butterflies and 80 species of birds.
