Named after the river that flows nearby, Pench was declared a Wildlife Sanctuary in 1983 and in 1992, Pench was included under the umbrella of "Project Tiger" as the 19th Project Tiger Reserve.      Spread over 758 sq.kms of tropical moist deciduous forest, Pench is one of the most accessible tiger reserves in the country, and just 90 kilometres north of Nagpur. The Reserve is located in the southern part of the Satpura hill range in the Seoni and Chhindwara districts in Madhya Pradesh. Padale Gaon Padala gaon is located in Dombivali on kalyan Shilphata road. It is  is a relatively unknown place to a lot of people.  But it is easily accessible for both Mumbaikars as well as out of towners.  If you go by local train, Dombivali is the nearest local train station from which you can easily get a bus to take you to the Padale gaon. Black Kites seem to favour Padale Gaon. The Garden Features:Numerous rare botanical species and trees dot the Garden. Additionally, there are lush green mounds, sit outs and a pathway. The Garden is presently being maintained by AIAI (All India Association of Industries). The Garden has won 1st prize number of times in the competitions organised by the “Friends of Tress” (an NGO). A Sewage treatment plant caters to the watering needs of Garden. The garden is a boon to the citizens of Mumbai in general & South Mumbai in particular. Chinchpokli & Parel Ganesh Idol Workshop The colorful Mumbai Ganesh idols, which are displayed all over the city during the annual Ganesh Chaturthi festival, are an awe-inspiring sight. It's natural to wonder about how they're made and the amount of work that's gone into creating them. If you're interested in finding out, it's possible to see the statues being crafted.  The skill is handed down from generation to generation, plus many migrants also come to Mumbai to help in the labor intensive process. It gets underway around three months before the festival takes place. Moments Shoot's Photo Tour to "Tadoba" Wild Life Safari - The Jewel of Vidharba on 24-25-26-27 Dec 2015 Tadoba TATR stands for Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve since it was included in the Project Tiger Program in the year. TATR is created by amalgamating Tadoba National Park & Andhari Wildlife Sanctuary. The total area under the Project Tiger is 1727.6 sq.km with core area being 625. 82 sq.km and the rest 1101.78 sq.km constitute the buffer zone. The core area concept denotes critical tiger habitat which is subject to intense conservation measures with human intervention being minimal.  The lifeline of the park are the Andhari River, Erai Dam, Kolsa Lake, Junoria Lake and the Tadoba Lake. Lohgad Lohagad is part of the Western Ghats. It rises to an elevation of 1,033 m (3,389 ft) above sea level, and is located to the southwest of the larger Visapur fort. The range divides the basins of the Indrayani and Pavana rivers. Lohagad overlooks the Pavana reservoir, located to the south of the mountain. The hill extends to the northwest to a fortified spur, called Vinchukata (Scorpion's tail) because of its resembling shape. The four large gates of Lohagad are still in good condition and reasonably intact. The fort as seen from its base during monsoon During the monsoon, the top of the fort is covered with mist and clouds and becomes particularly wet with growing moss.
