Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon

 The Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon, abbreviated as SCMM, is an annual international marathon held in Mumbai, India, on the third Sunday of January every year. It is the largest marathon in Asia as well as the largest mass participation sporting event on the continent. It is the richest race in India with a prize pool of USD $350,000.




 SCMM has six different race categories: marathon (26.218 miles (42.194 km)), half marathon (21.097 km), Dream Run (6 km), Senior Citizens Race (4.3 km), Champions with Disability category (2.4 km) and DHL Corporate Champions (42.195 km, 4-person relay).

  • Families / Friends 
  • In short Everyone !!!

Photo Walk Schedule:
  • Gather at CST @ 6:45 am 
  • Find an ideal place (near CST) and shoot different events. The starting point of all the events is CST and hence we can cover all the events such as Elite Marathon, Champions with Disability, Senior citizen’s run & Dream Run
  • En route have breakfast.
  • Visit different places such as Marine Drive, Azad Maidan and capture the moments.
  • Bid adieu and return to respective destinations.

 Note
1. All the roads are blocked in CST area during the Marathon time, hence one needs to reach early to grab a perfect location for shooting.
2.  2. We will not get any permission to run with the participants, you need to register with SCMM to do that.
Things to Carry:
1. 1-2 Ltrs Water
2. Camera (Optional - Capture the moments in your Heart !!!)
3. Cap

Cost:
All expenses will be done as per they arise, by individual members, This event is for Photography and fun.

  • All our Photo-walk's are Eco-friendly, kindly take care of nature around us. 
  • Smoking and Drinking alcohol during, Photo-walk is strictly prohibited if anyone found doing that will be expelled from Photo-walk without refund.
  • Respect the Heritage and culture. Do Not Litter, Participants are requested to carry the waste back to the city and dispose it off in dustbins.
  • Leader’s decision will be final and binding on all members. No Arguments will be entertained.
  • Moments Shoot is not liable in any way whatsoever for any injury or loss (including any indirect or consequential loss) of any kind to person or property suffered by any participant whether by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent.
