Anjaneri

The fort of Anjaneri, being the birthplace of lord Hanuman, has a great historical importance. Lord Hanuman was the son of Pavan (the wind) and Anjani, and hence the fort is called as Anjaneri. Anjaneri is one of the important forts in the ranges of Tryambakeshwar near Nashik. The Nashik-Tryambakeshwar road is branched at a distance of 20 km from Nashik as Anjaneri Phata.






Anjaneri is surrounded by Magical Mountains & Mystic Mist...

Photo Tour Schedule:
1. Gather at Thane station east @ 6 am
2. Start the journey @ 6:30 am
3. Break for the breakfast @ 8:30 am
4. Reach Ajnaneri Base Village by 10:30 am
5. Start the Trek by 11:00 am
6. Reach the Fort, Explore the fort and have the lunch on the fort.
7. Start the descend by 3:00 pm
8. Reach the base village and start the return journey.
9. Reach Thane by 9:00 pm
10. Bid adieu and return to respective destinations. 

Things to Carry:
1. 2 Ltrs Water (MUST)
2. Windcheater
3. Good Trekking Shoes
4. Camera (Optional - Capture the moments in your Heart !!!)
5. Extra cloths
6. Dry snacks
7. Torch with extra batteries
8. A Bag to put all these things

4. Leader’s decision will be final and binding on all members. No Arguments will be entertained.
