Bougainvillea 
Bougainvillea is a genus of thorny ornamental vines, bushes, and trees with flower-like spring leaves near its flowers.

Bonsai
Bonsai is a Japanese pronunciation of the earlier Chinese term penzai. A "bon" is a tray-like pot typically used in bonsai culture. The word bonsai is often used in English as an umbrella term for all miniature trees in containers or pots.

 Cacti 
Cacti live in habitats subject to at least some drought. Many live in extremely dry environments, even being found in the Atacama Desert, one of the driest places on earth. Cacti show many adaptations to conserve water. Most species of cacti have lost true leaves, retaining only spines, which are highly modified leaves. As well as defending against herbivores, spines help prevent water loss by reducing air flow close to the cactus and providing some shade. Cactus spines are produced from specialized structures called areoles, a kind of highly reduced branch. Areoles are an identifying feature of cacti. As well as spines, areoles give rise to flowers, which are usually tubular and multipetaled.

Photo Walk Schedule

1. Meet at Mahim Nature Park @ 7:30 am
2. Explore the MNP & Birding session till 9:00 am
3. Visit the Bougainvillea, Cacti & Bonsai show
4. Conclude the Photowalk @ 12:00 pm
5. Bid adieu and return to respective destinations.

Things to Carry:
1. 1-2 Ltrs Water (Must)
2. Cap (Must)
3. Mosquito Repellent cream
4. Camera (Optional - Capture the moments in your Heart !!!)

All expenses will be done as per they arise, by individual members, This event is for Photography and fun.

  • Smoking and Drinking alcohol during, Photo-walk is strictly prohibited if anyone found doing that will be expelled from Photo-walk without refund.
  • Respect the Heritage and culture. Do Not Litter, Participants are requested to carry the waste back to the city and dispose it off in dustbins.
  • Leader’s decision will be final and binding on all members. No Arguments will be entertained.
